The Love Has Many Facets Jewelry Design Competition & Fundraiser (Facets Fundraiser) , founded by Patty Gallun Hansen and Jack Henke (Hansen & Henke), was established to shine a light on the often-overlooked career path of goldsmithing and to provide a nurturing platform for young talent to showcase their creativity and gain recognition for their unique designs.
Our vision is to inspire and empower the next generation of jewely makers. The Facets Fundraiser does this by fostering a community that values creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation in the art of goldsmithing, silversmithing, and jewelry making.
Jewelry stores that are interesed in the Facets Fundraiser's turn-key program should contact Patty Hansen. Jewelry stores that are interesed in the Facets Fundraiser's turn-key program should contact Patty Hansen. Working with their local high school or community art departments, the Facets Fundraising program is scheduled into their curriculum. With teacher's guidance, students create their design, final creations are placed on display at the jewlery store and online, then the voting begins. The winning design is then cast to be sold. A Meet the Artist event is held and proceeds are given to the local art department.
Hanson & Henke is dedicated to building relationships that foster creative, technical, and hands-on skills through education and training in goldsmithing, silversmithing, and jewelry making. To support this, we created the Love Has Many Facets Jewelry Design Competiontion & Fundraiser (Facets Fundraiser). A percentage of the profit from each sale of the winning entry to the participating High School's Art Department.
